New Ways To Fix "There Was A Problem Parsing The Package" On Android

It is so annoying each times an Android user decides to install an app on his or her android phone and gets parse error problem and this is one of the common error android users experience most. Well, the solution is right here and if you do experience it, your problem will be solved right away.

Ways to fix Parse Error on Android Device

1. Disable Antivirus: There are some antivirus that blocks some applications that looks suspicious and untrusted from installing so kindly disable the antivirus temporarily and install the Apk.

2. Partially downloaded file or corrupted Apk: Parse Error can also occur when your downloaded file isn't complete so kindly download the Apk file completely before installing and sometimes, it occurs when your downloaded Apk file is corrupted so kindly download a new fresh Apk file and install.

3. Allow apps installation from Unknown Sources: For security reasons, Android don't allow you to install apps from other sources except from Google playstore because it can harm your phone.

Just go to settings>>security and enable Allow Apps Installation from Unknown Sources and confirm it. So with these, you won't face the Parse error problem anymore.

4. Enable USB debugging: Well, enabling USB debugging doesn't really deal with downloading on Android but it works sometimes. So kindly go to settings>>developer options and enable USB debugging.

5. Check your apps manifest file: If you are among those that modify Android app like using Apk editor to edit apps, you might have edited the manifest file or renamed it from the original name so kindly set it to default and install it not to face parse error problem.

6. Incompatible App: Some Android apps do not support the older version of the Android OS which means if you are trying to install an Apk app of android 5.1 lollipop above on android 4.4 kitikat, it will display parse error so always read the app requirements on Playstore before you install, if it is compatible with your device or not.

So with these, you will be able to fix "There Was a Problem Parsing the Package" error successfully!
