NCC Orders GSM Companies To Increase Their Data Rates - Checkout!

Very sad news as NCC (Nigeria communications commissions) instructs all the networks in Nigeria to increase their data rate. This means Etisalat, Glo, MTN and Airtel will increase their data rate as from 1st of December 2016. A data plan of N1,000 for 1.5GB will now be increased to N1,000 for 500MB.

Anyways, I don't think this will really help Nigerians because this will surely reduce the amount of people on the internet. Kindly call 181 with your mtn line and confirm what they said;

"Dear customer, please be informed that from the 1st of December 2016, all mtn data plans will be changed in compliance with the NCC directive to all operators"
See the video below;

So is it helpful? What do you have to say about this? Do you think increasing the data plans rate is the best option in this time of recession?
