New Way To Install XOS Chameleon UI On Note 2 LTE And Infinix Zero 3

Wow! Infinix XOS Chameleon v2.0.0 has just be released. This user interface is just a customized XUI that is the default interface so Infinix Zero 3 and Infinix Note 2 LTE can now upgrade to this XOS Chameleon interface.

This new chameleon interface has a new features for the users which one, is the three (3) fingers feature that will allow you to take screenshot very fast by swiping three fingers across your screen. This is not like the formal way to take screenshot that you will hold the power key and volume 🔊 key and the other one to choose from a drop down list so this is a new feature attached to the XOS interface.

So the update is out now for all Infinix Note 2 and Infinix Zero 3 users via OTA.

Requirements or prerequisites 

  • Check your built number and download according to your built number. Kindly go to settings>>scroll down you will see it.
  • Unroot your device before proceeding for this process.
Where to download?

For Zero 3 X552-H952-A1 (Download SP flash, SD card ).

For Zero 3 X552-H952-B1 (Download SDcard, SP flash).

Note 2 Lte X600 A1 Build ( Download SDcard, SP flash).

Note 2 Lte X600 B1 Build (Download SDcard, SP flash).

Steps to install via your SD card ( memory card )

There are two methods to install this to your memory card or SD card which I will be treating below. So install update using OTA package or Tcard package. 

So download the relevant update of OTA package or Tcard package then update it and place the to your of your memory card or SD card ( If already extracted, kindly rename it as then after that process kindly the two methods below.

First method

So kindly go to Settings>>About phone>>System update>>Options>>Update from local>>Select '' and install it. Then wait for the phone to automatically boot and do not press anything till it has boot.

Second method

  • Kindly turn off your Infinix phone and boot to recovery mode and to let it boot to recovery mode, you have to switch off your phone.
  • Then after that, press the volume up key and power button.
  • So if you see Android bot lying down or standing up with a danger sign kindly press the power key and volume up button once again.
  • Then click on Apply update from SD card by pressing the up and down button.
  • Then scroll to where the file is located and select with the power key or button.
  • Then wait for the phone to reboot by itself and don't press anything till it reboot.

So you successfully done and enjoy your new interface!
