Sad! Wechat Closes Shop Or Office In Nigeria. See Why!

WeChat is a mobile text and voice messaging communication service developed by Tencent in China, first released in January 2011. WeChat in Africa is being managed by Naspers as it is one of the investors in Tencent. Over that time or years, it has been the best messenging application over the world and universe and also managed by master.

Wechat application will not leave Nigeria but their office so their users or members will still be able to use it. So wechat is closing down its office in Nigeria and moving to South Africa.  It is understood that WeChat Nigeria office has been on record in aggressive publicity and PR for some months.

Although, collaborations with Nigerian startups is part of their activities in the country.
